Patrick was born in Germany and moved to the states as a child. He was recruited by a neighbor to join the Flint-Gresham Fire Department in March 1991 and has been an active member ever since.

Patrick holds an MBA, has been a certified EMT since 1992 and a certified firefighter since 1995.

When Patrick is not volunteering as the Assistant Chief at FGFD he is the Operations Manager at Veterinary supply company and is an active member of the State Firemen’s and Fire Marshal’s Association.
